    61 Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. For the period of the summer, highs typically are in the 80's at 61 Reservoir, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for 61 Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. Golf can be played at Alaskan Golf Club; if you came to camp Pierce Point Camping Park is a perfect place to do that. 61 Reservoir gets a typical amount of  
   yearly rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month.
This place, 61 Reservoir, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. While you're here at 61 Reservoir you can take a hike along the Ahnapee State Trail, and KEWAUNEE INN is a tremendous site to get some rest. Camping at Timber Trail Campgrounds is always a great experience, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can have
 
               a look at Henry Iwen Dam.
This lake is so wonderful. You're most likely into lakes, Krohns Lake is one of those nearby, and getting to Ahnapee River from 61 Reservoir is easy. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Sturgeon Bay, Wi. Lakes are brilliant; Silver Lake is a lake that's close to 61 Reservoir.

Bicycle the trail to Algoma and spend a couple of hours noodling around the maritime village, dip your feet in Lake Michigan, and have lunch at one of the local and affordable Algoma restaurants.

Note that there are several apple trees along the way. Unlike today’s apples which are mostly highbred grafts, these heritage breed apples are trees started from the railmen throwing their apple cores out the windows of the train. In the fall, the apples are ripe, plentiful, free, and very flavorful. Pick some up to make a cobbler at camp that evening.

Finally, you pass through Sturgeon Bay on the way to Potowatomi State Park. Buy your food for the evening at one of the locally owned groceries. Then on to Potowotomi State Park.
