What a nice lake 583 Reservoir is. 583 Reservoir is a good location of normal rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is mostly the driest month. If you came to camp Double K-d Ranch Campground is a delightful spot to do that, and hiking along the East Bluff Trail is magnificent fun. If you need a place to stay Clarion Hotel Baraboo is a glorious choice, and good skiing awaits you at Christmas Mountain.

Steinke Basin is a perfect site to check out; at 583 Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of North Range. 583 Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Devil's Lake State Park is a perfect local campground, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Baraboo River.

some golf at Baraboo Country Club; a wonderful close by hotel is Best Western Baraboo Inn. Have a good hiking adventure along the Bluff Trail; do have a look at Johnson Ponds, it's a delightful lake.
