Lots of people from Baraboo come to 583 Reservoir, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Baraboo Country Club. Through the warm days of summer at 583 Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is       down it drops down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while 583 Reservoir night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. If you came to camp Devil's Lake State Park is a nice site to do that, and if you need a site to stay Clarion Hotel Baraboo is a good choice. And that's not all you can do here at 583 Reservoir. There's so much to do here at 583 Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Double K-d Ranch Campground                  is a wonderful site for that; the peaks of the North Range dominate the scenery of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm sites, why not explore Johnson Ponds in the vicinity of 583 Reservoir; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Devils Head since you're here. Why not stop by Linen Mill Dam while you're here, and paddling on Baraboo River is so much fun. Do set aside some time for Steinke Basin since you're here at 583 Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Bluff Trail. The amount of rain that falls at 583 Reservoir is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. Get drenched paddling on Skillet Creek.
