After a long day outdoors Merrill Super 8 Motel is a good spot to spend a night or two, and if you get bored of 2780 Reservoir you could       also take a look at nearby Henrich Lake. Near 2780 Reservoir you stumble on a golf course called Merrill Public Golf Club; if you came for an overnight stay Rib Mountain State Park is a magnificent place to camp. This lake is so wonderful.
