235 Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. 235 Reservoir gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Glide down the rapids of Chippewa River - West Fork in a kayak; there's good hiking along the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail. All through the long summer days at 235 Reservoir highs are frequently in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout

| | the wintertime highs are commonly in the 10's, and overnight lows at 235 Reservoir through the wintertime generally descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Chippewa River - East Fork, and you can stay the night at Black Lake Campground. Good hiking is available along the Black Lake Trail; why not a little side tour to Fishtrap Creek. Why not pop by Fishtrap Lake Dam since you're here, naturally you could also check out | |

Fishtrap Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Americinn Lodge Ladysmith. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact plentiful here at 235 Reservoir. There's so much
to do here at 235 Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Wolfs Eagle Lodge Resort and Campground is a magnificent place for that, and playing golf is lots of fun at Barker Lake Golf Course. The Great Divide Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best, and a lake nearby is Blue Gill Lake.

Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail
 | 1 PHOTO The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail. It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin. The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties. This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad. There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail. There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa. At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas.
