High temperatures at 2 Reservoir throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's; the night is fairly cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's, and night lows at 2 Reservoir throughout the winter usually fall       into the-10's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend St. Croix River; Lodge at Crooked Lake is a great spot to get some rest. On a good day at 2 Reservoir you can take a hike along the Markville Snowmobile Trail; Gulden's Yellow River Campgrounds is a splendid campground nearby. This location is unbeatable, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of 2 Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Best                  Western Northwoods Lodge. If you came for an overnight stay Rosenthal's Resort is a magnificent place to camp, and if you come at the right time of year, Upper Tamarack River offers some delightful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.
