The Hamilton Falls Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best; if you need a place to stay Americinn - Thorp, Wi is a tremendous choice. 16 Reservoir is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Norm and Ann's Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and if you've       had enough of 16 Reservoir, Hay Creek Lake 59 is close by. This lake is so wonderful. So much fun stuff close to 16 Reservoir, absolutely unbelievable. You can run the rapids of Eau Claire River next to 16 Reservoir, and do have a look at Dam Number Sixteen if you're here. Thompson Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit; a splendid nearby hotel is Super 8 Stanley.
