Americinn - Thorp, Wi is a good place to get some rest; in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. Visit Brick Creek if you're here at 12 Reservoir, and needless to say, this is a fine region for people who like lakes, Owen Pond 5 is a lake in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Kathryn Lake Campground, and Owen City Dam is a beautiful place, definitely worth checking out.
