There's so much to do here at 10 Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Jamboree Campground is a brilliant location for that; Robinson Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. At 10 Reservoir during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 10's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at 10 Reservoir drop into the-10's.

| | Any time is a pleasant time at 10 Reservoir if you love the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Dickey Creek; after a long day outdoors Three Bears Lodge and Villas is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. An average amount of rain falls at 10 Reservoir; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Robinson Creek
 | 1 PHOTO Nice place. Peaceful and relaxing.... ...s reason, unless you are prepared to drag you boat over or around substantial log jams with strong undertows, take out is recommended at Fall-Hall Road. If you'd like to see the F-H Glen, it is a 200yard paddle downstream around a bend to the glen. Secure permission to use the F-H Camp trails if you don't want to drag you boat back upstream. If you want to paddle Robinson Creek, a better put in is at the Old County Road I on the North side where there is a State Forest campsite near the ATV trails (permit req'd to camp)on the north side of the bridge. Along the way are several class I (II) riffles and a millpond dam with designated portage on the right. At Kelly Road, Portage to the right of the dam to avoid a sharp drop on the downstream side of the bridge. The rest of the trip includes some class II (III) runs with several unmarked falls of 4-7' which should be portaged. There were a couple of places to play in and, if waterflow was above average, runs that would challenge an intermediate paddler. My 13 yo son and I paddled and dragged our way to the Black River. Halls Creek
 | 14 miles away I have a cabin near potters flowage and have recently discovered halls creek this year. Great river to kayak if there is water in it. Best to do after the snow melts in april through early may. Don't waste your time any other time of the year unless there has been a lot of rain.... |
