Why not pop by Peterson G9917 Dam since you're here, and 1.28 Reservoir is not far at all from Platteville. Eagle Cave Natural Park is a glorious campground       here, and Richland Center Super 8 Motel is a nice place to get some rest. An average amount of rainfall falls at 1.28 Reservoir; most of the rain falls through July, and January is the month with the least moisture. There's just no way someone can get bored here at 1.28 Reservoir. 1.28 Reservoir is a perfect place to camp, Alana Springs Lodge and Campground is a perfect place, and close by you stumble on McKinney Hollow which is a good place to take a look                  at. This lake is so wonderful.
