If you are traveling by, why not stop by 1 Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. During your visit to 1 Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Baraboo for sure, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Bluff Trail. Get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Baraboo River, and 1 Reservoir is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Wheeler's Campground is a fine local campground. Dry warm beds await you at 4 Winds Motel Baraboo, and going for a hike along the West Bluff Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Devils Washbowl is a good site to check out, and a lake nearby is Seeley Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Devils Head; the panorama of Devils Chair is gorgeous.

recommend Skillet Creek. There's so much to do here at 1 Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Baraboo Hills Campground is a good spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Park Plaza Baraboo
is a fine choice, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the East Bluff Trail.
Really great skiing awaits you at Christmas Mountain, and Steinhorst and Coughlin G4851 Dam has great water scenery. Summertime highs at
1 Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows at 1 Reservoir during the wintertime typically fall into the 0's.
