The beauty of 1 Reservoir attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Best Western Baraboo Inn is a tremendous choice; hiking along the West Bluff Trail is magnificent fun. 1 Reservoir is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Camp Gray is a delightful place to camp nearby, and what would winter be without some skiing at Devils Head. | | and the night is rather colder of course, generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at 1 Reservoir fall into the 0's.

This lake is so wonderful. Not far from 1 Reservoir, you'll hit upon Seeley Lake which is a striking lake,
and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Bluff Trail. The amount of rain that falls at 1 Reservoir is close to the national average; through September this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. So
much fun stuff to do at 1 Reservoir, so little time. Green Valley Campground is a good local campground, and 1 Reservoir is not far at all from Baraboo.
Devils Washbowl is a gorgeous spot any time of year; there are some splendid
whitewater spots on Baraboo River. The peak of Devils Chair can be seen from 1 Reservoir, and you can take a little journey to Steinhorst and Coughlin G4851 Dam since you're here at 1 Reservoir.
