This lake is so wonderful. From 1 Reservoir you get a tremendous vista of Devils Chair, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Baraboo. Green Valley Campground is a fine campground nearby,       and Skillet Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at 1 Reservoir. 1 Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Camp Gray is a great place to camp nearby; dry warm beds await you at Clarion Hotel Baraboo. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at 1 Reservoir; September is the month that gets the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. The best way to spend a winter                  day is on the slopes of nearby Christmas Mountain; 1 Reservoir is not the only location close by, Seeley Lake 31 is a close by lake. During the long summer days here at 1 Reservoir, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at 1 Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 0's. Be careful coming to 1 Reservoir, you might not ever wanna return home again. There's always Steinhorst and Coughlin G4851 Dam to stop at near 1 Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bluff Trail, and Devils Washbowl is a brilliant place here at 1 Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Seeley Lake; 1 Reservoir is right by the East Bluff Trail.
