Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby 1 Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Days Inn of Antigo is a glorious site to spend a night or two. A fine nearby hotel is Antigo Super 8 Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Antigo Lake RV Park is a perfect campground here, and playing golf is lots of fun at Riverview Country Club. Camping at 1 Reservoir       is good fun, Mayflower Lake Campgrounds is a good local campground, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Eau Claire River. From a rainfall point of view 1 Reservoir is a reasonably normal place; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. High temperatures at 1 Reservoir through the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
