     Do explore Owen Pond 5 right next door to 1 Reservoir, it's a striking lake, and Country View RV Park, LLC is a wonderful local campground. The Ice Age Trail offers hiking at its best; dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Abbotsford. You clearly must love 1 Reservoir. Through the summertime months at 1 Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter highs are regularly  
   in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at 1 Reservoir temperatures drop to the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at 1 Reservoir, you could also pop by wonderful Sportsman Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Americinn - Medford, Wi is a good choice. Why not camp at Kathryn Lake Campground while you're here at 1 Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is fine on Black River. From a rainfall point of view 1 Reservoir is a quite common site; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

Detractors seemed to be a lack of enforcing the quiet hours. Parties with music blaring, singing and yelling went on until 3 a. M. Some noise was from the weedend campers next to us, and some noise was from the permanent site owners, which also included blowing on a plastic trumpet, not only during the day, but into the night. Dogs were left barking alone on the site next to us while the owners were at the bar or at the lake. No one was in the office in regular hours, making it impossible to replenish the ice in our coolers until the next day. Office was closed at six pm and was still not open at 10 the next. Person I talked to in the building said because of the economy he'd had to let a lot of the help go. Unfortunately, this is a big negative for us, since it made our stay somewhat uncomfortable, with the noise, lack of hot water, and not being able to get ice. Overall, with the help of ear plugs, we were able to survive with a little inconvenience. It would be nice though, if they could put a lid on the noise. Maybe appoint one of the seaso...
