Cougar Rock is trouble-free to spot from Zig Zag Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Washougal River offers some pleasant whitewater. Canyon Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground; on a nice day you can take a hike along the Washougal Trail. High temperatures at Zig Zag Lake through the summer months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.       The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows throughout the winter for Zig Zag Lake tend to be in the 30's. So much cool stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. Bonneville Hot Springs Resort is a glorious location to get some rest; while you're here, you could also stop at pretty Rock Creek Lake. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Zig Zag Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Observation                  Berryfield Campground is a good location to camp, and close by you find the Horseshoe Ridge Trail which is a nice hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Skamania Lodge, and do visit Soda Peaks Lake, it's a pretty lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Zig Zag Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range.
