Going for a hike on the Green Leaf Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and if you want to explore some exciting stuff, explore West Crater. For the duration of the long summer days at Zig Zag Lake highs are commonly in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, mostly in the       50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's; night lows throughout the wintertime for Zig Zag Lake tend to be in the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Zig Zag Lake a wet location; during December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. There are wonderful places to explore along the Horseshoe Ridge Trail; soar down the rapids of Washougal River in a kayak.
