If you came for an overnight stay Canyon Creek Campground is a fine location to camp; Best Western Columbia River Inn is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Zig Zag Lake       is right by the Green Leaf Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Skamania Lodge is a good choice. This is a fine region for folks who like lakes. Rock Creek Lake is a lake close at hand, and why not camp at Observation Berryfield Campground while you're here at Zig Zag Lake. That right there is a lot of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. You're possibly keen on lakes, Soda Peaks Lake is one of those close by, and                  if the weather is delightful, you acquire a splendid vista of Cougar Rock from Zig Zag Lake.
