Yellepit Pond is a nice lake to visit. Yellepit Pond is not far at all from Pendleton-Hermiston, and a pleasant visit to Columbia Plateau is a great way to spend an afternoon. Arrowhead Campground and RV Park is a brilliant local campground, and a great nearby hotel is Vineyard Inn. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Switch Pond, and Clover Island Inn is a nice location to get some rest.
