If you like lakes and you're in this part of Washington you can check out Yahoo Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Clearwater River offers some delightful whitewater, and if you came for an overnight stay Queets Campground is a nice place to camp. That right there is heaps of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all. There are some great whitewater spots on Solleks River, and going for a hike along the Pass Trail

| | will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Yahoo Lake is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Here at Yahoo Lake you'll most likely meet some people from Port Angeles, and Yahoo Lake is right by the Bogachiel-Hoh Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Yahoo Lake get into the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in | |

the 40's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Yahoo Lake tend to be in the 30's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Yahoo Lake has to offer. Lake Quinault Lodge is a brilliant spot to
get some rest; why not camp at Yahoo Lake Campground while you're here at Yahoo Lake.
You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Olympic Mountains. A great deal of rainfall falls at Yahoo Lake;
of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is August. Hiking along the Bogachiel Trail is brilliant fun, and dry warm beds await you at Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
