This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Wright Ponds-West Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Wright Ponds-East Pond has to offer, you can camp at Pine-near Trailer Park. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Wright Ponds-East Pond has it all. Take a hike on the Bluff Lake Trail, and Chewuch River has a good whitewater paddling spot close                  by. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Pearrygin Trail; golf can be played at Bear Creek Golf Course. Echo Valley has good slopes and a friendly staff. Wright Ponds-East Pond Dam is worth going to since you're here; you can stay the night at Pearrygin Lake State Park. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Wright Ponds-East Pond get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Wright Ponds-East Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's.
