Lake of the Woods is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Lake of the Woods is a location that is reasonably waterless commonly; through December this area sees the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Lake of the Woods       without first going for a hike along the Monument Creek Trail, of course you could also pop by Dot Lakes since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. The Boundary Trail offers hiking at its best; get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Lost River. Lake of the Woods beyond doubt is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. There's fine hiking along the Driveway Butte Trail, and a good site to camp here at Lake of the Woods                  is Ballard Campground. Through the summertime at Lake of the Woods highs are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Lake of the Woods night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. This site, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. A lake close by is Johnny Lakes, and a good vista of delightful Lake Mountain is available. This lake is so wonderful.
