That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Wenatchee Mountains has it all. On a pretty day you obtain a panorama of Stemilt Hill from Wood Reservoir, and a good place to camp here at Wood Reservoir is Lincoln Rock State Park. This lake is so wonderful. Wood Reservoir Dam is not far at all from Wood Reservoir, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can       always stop by nearby Mathison Reservoir. You'll meet a lot of folks from Wenatchee here; the Red Hill Trail offers hiking at its best. Around Wood Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. Through the months of summer at Wood Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's, and the overnight is rather colder of course, typically in the 50's. Daytime highs all                  through the winter are in the 30's, and night lows at Wood Reservoir through the winter regularly sink into the 20's. Be careful coming to the Wenatchee Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Looking for some flowing water? So many enjoyable things right next door to Wood Reservoir, absolutely impressive. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are really bountiful here at Wood Reservoir. Wood Reservoir is located in the Wenatchee Mountains. An afternoon playing golf at Highlander Golf Club is always a diversion, and there's glorious hiking along the High Creek Trail. Good hiking is available along the Devils Gulch Trail; not far from Wood Reservoir you'll stumble on Lake Cortez which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful.
