Wood Lake is a nice lake to visit. Wood Lake is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Olympic Mountains. Robin Hood Cottages is a great local campground, and a lake close by is Wildberry Lake. For the period of the summertime highs here at Wood Lake get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. It's a fine idea to have a look at Tahuya River, it's next to Wood Lake, and there
are good places to look at along the Mount Jupiter Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Summertide Resort if you're here at Wood Lake, and there's whitewater on Jefferson Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. All the
water falling down from the sky makes Wood Lake a wet place; during December this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July.
