Wood Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Yeah, come here to Wood Lake for a brilliant time. Hamma Hamma River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by; Wood Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Robin Hood Cottages is a good local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Shelton come to Wood Lake. There's so much

| | to do here at Wood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Summertide Resort is a good place for that.
For the period of the warm months here at Wood Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Wood Lake. Whitewater paddling is fine on Jefferson Creek, and if you've had enough of | |

Wood Lake, Cady Lake is nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains.
A wonderful nearby hotel is Union Bay Hot Tub Cabins; going for a hike on the Mount Jupiter Trail is always a tremendous adventure.
The high level of precipitation makes Wood Lake a reasonably wet site; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest. All year is a tremendous time in
the Olympic Mountains if you love the outdoors. If you need a spot to stay Alderbrook Resort And Spa is a great choice; some of the water close by flows, like Tahuya River.
