Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. At Wirkkala Lake you always meet someone from Astoria, and some nearby water includes Bean Creek. Any time is a fine time at Wirkkala Lake if you love the outdoors. Wirkkala Lake is not       the only place nearby, Astoria Reservoir is a nearby lake, and why not camp at Naselle RV Park if you're here at Wirkkala Lake. Grays River is a great whitewater spot near Wirkkala Lake, and Astoria Rivershore Motel is a pleasant spot to get some rest. That right there is plenty of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all. Wirkkala Dam Number Three is worth stopping at since you're here; if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites                  Columbia River is a fine choice. Wirkkala Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. A lake nearby is Wirkkala Ponds, and if you came for an overnight stay Healing Circle is a fine spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Wirkkala Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 60's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's while Wirkkala Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
