This location, the Olympic Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. There's so much to do here at Winters Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Port Angeles Koa Kampground is a great place for that, and Olympic National Park is a very brilliant spot to stop at. Really great skiing awaits you at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge. Through the summertime highs here at Winters       Pond get into the 70's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, generally in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Winters Pond. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Olympic Mountains. Take a side tour to Bagley Creek, and Port Angeles Super 8 Motel is a perfect spot to get some rest. Winters Pond is not the only spot close by, Peabody Heights Reservoir is a close                  by lake; Winters Pond Dam is an interesting thing to check out. This site is unbeatable, just check out all the cool stuff to do near Winters Pond. A lake nearby is Marmot Lake; if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Little River Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Lake Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Winters Pond has to offer, you can camp at Evergreen Motel and Mobile Home. All the water falling down from the sky makes Winters Pond a wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gray Wolf River, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Port Angeles. On a great day at Winters Pond you can take a hike along the Baldy Trail, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Dungeness River.
