Little Cavanaugh Lake is a magnificent lake next to Winter Lake, and don't leave Winter Lake without first going for a hike along the Mount Defiance Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Skykomish River offers some glorious whitewater, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not stop at Haleyon Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western       Sky Valley Inn, and unsurprisingly Dry Creek flows through this vicinity. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Winter Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Winter Lake plunge into the 30's. Winter Lake is a rather wet place commonly with a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains                  the most; July meanwhile is the driest month. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. There are some nice whitewater spots on Snoqualmie River - North Fork. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Winter Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Bronson Assoc Nudist Park. Having a wonderful time in the Northern Cascade Range is uncomplicated. This lake is so wonderful.
