Winslow Pool is near Winslow Dike Dam which is a gorgeous spot definitely worth visiting; camping at Winslow Pool is wonderful fun, Yogi Bears Camp Resort is a wonderful local campground. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hangman Creek; Winslow Pool is not the only spot nearby, Blackhorse Lake is a nearby lake. Around       Winslow Pool you don’t get a lot of rain; throughout December this area sees the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Willow Springs Motel near EWU is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; do have a look at Pine Creek Drain while you're here at Winslow Pool. For the period of the summer months, highs typically are in the 80's at Winslow Pool, and the night is a little colder of course,                  typically in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's; night lows in the 20's for Winslow Pool. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHENEY-UNIVERSITY AREA, and Winslow Pool is not far at all from Spokane. Do set aside some time for Phillips Meadow since you're here at Winslow Pool, and there's whitewater on Spokane River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
