This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. One of the governing traits of the surroundings of Windon Lake is Devils       Peak. If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Windon Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Sauk River, and you can go for a hike on the Meadow Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Helena Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and going for a hike on the Lost Creek Ridge Trail is always a splendid adventure. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Windon Lake get into the 70's, and all through                  summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Windon Lake fall into the 30's. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range rocks! Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Clear Creek, and camping at Perry Creek Campground is always a great experience. While you're here at Windon Lake, you could also take a look at scenic Independence Lake, and Windon Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Deer Creek Campground is a magnificent local campground. Gotta ski!
