Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area
Interesting to see this area via google satelitte...in 1892 my paternal grandfather purchased 95.5 acres along the river at the China Bend area from the govt. It must have been repurchased by the Bureau of Reclamation when the Dam was being considered. Glad it's still beautiful....

The Upper Columbia RV and Campground

Clean tidy and quiet. Shady riverfront camping with good fishing. Makes a good base camp for exploring the mountains and small towns around the area. Owners are very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. I will be back!...
