Go for a hike on the Sourdough Lookout Trail, and you can stay the night at Mineral Park Campground. For the duration of the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 70's at Wilcox Lakes. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Wilcox Lakes tend to be in the 30's. And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range.       Near Wilcox Lakes you come across the Hidden Lake Trail which is a good hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Stetattle Creek. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. A lake close by is Bouck Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Cascade River. Wilcox Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Wilcox Lakes is a wet site that gets lots of                  rain; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Wilcox Lakes, so little time. Stout Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. There's so much to do here at Wilcox Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Newhalem Campground is a great location for that.
