Best Western Oak Meadows Inn is a great place to get some rest, and hey, Gee Creek is a great local stream. Why not camp at Sauvie Cove Store and RV Park since you're here at Widgeon Lake, and the Georges Peak Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Fishtrap Shoal; beaches are tremendous       and Lyons Beach is no exception. But wait, there's more to do near Widgeon Lake. This place, Widgeon Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Why not take a look at Austin Point also since you're here, and a delightful lake like Long Lake is a good site to check out. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Woodland Inn And Suites is a nice location to spend a night or two; if you're popping by from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton, you                  won't be the only one. During the summer highs here at Widgeon Lake reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Widgeon Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. If you come at the right time of year, Kalama River offers some great whitewater; Hathaway Lake is a nice location to check out. A round of golf at nearby Tri-Mountain Golf Course is a tremendous way to kill some time, and if you came for an overnight stay Violette's Villa is a delightful place to camp.
