Rainbow RV Resort is a great campground nearby, of course you could also go to Benbow Lakes since you're here; it's not far at all. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Lakeview is a pleasant spot to camp; drift down the rapids of Puyallup River in a kayak. Lindstrom Dam Number One is worth       going to while you're here, and get drenched paddling on Mashel River. Lake Whitman is a good site of common rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December while July is frequently the driest month. So much cool stuff to do here at Lake Whitman, too tremendous to be true. After a long day outdoors Best Western Park Plaza is a fine site to spend a night or two, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Twentyfive Mile Creek. So much fun stuff                  in the Northern Cascade Range, just fantastic. The panoramas at Mount Rainier National Park will blow your mind. All through the warm months at Lake Whitman highs are ordinarily in the 70's with night lows in the 50's.
