You'll discover a gorgeous lake called Lake Umatilla near Wheelhouse Pond, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Little Klickitat River. Spanish Hollow is a wonderful site to stop at nearby, and Henderson Spring is always fun to check out. Around Wheelhouse Pond you don’t get a lot of rain;       through December this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. All through the months of summer at Wheelhouse Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and the night is fairly colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's while Wheelhouse Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place!
