If you like lakes and you're in this part of Washington you can check out Lake Whatcom. Lake Whatcom is a location with many visitors from Bellingham, and Mt.Baker is a very popular ski area close by. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. You could also pop by Heron Pond while you're here at Lake Whatcom; it's close by; if you need a location to stay Bellingham Val U Inn is a delightful choice.

| | Lake Whatcom gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A lake close by is Sunset Pond, and Whatcom Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. So much enjoyable stuff near Lake Whatcom, clearly mind-boggling. Toad Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit, and a great close by hotel is Best Western Lakeway Inn. Throughout | |

the warm months highs here at Lake Whatcom reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake Whatcom.
Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is so good! If you came to camp Crest Haven Mobile Home and RV is a great place to do that; a golf course nearby is North Bellingham Golf Course. This lake
is so wonderful. Whatcom Lake Dam is a place that is near Lake Whatcom. There's so much to do here at Lake Whatcom that you need to camp here for a while, Bellingham RV Park is a splendid place for that. Lake Whatcom is located in
the Northern Cascade Range.
This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a national park worth a visit.
