This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Calawah River. There's so much to do here at Wentworth Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mora Campground is a brilliant place for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. The high level of rain makes Wentworth Lake a relatively wet       site; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest of the months is August. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area close to Wentworth Lake has to offer. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Wentworth Lake has to offer, you can camp at Three Rivers Resort and Guide Service. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things to do in the Olympic Mountains. If you need a place to stay Olson's                  Vacation Cabin is a perfect choice, and there are good places to look at along the Allens Bay Trail. East Fork Dickey River is a stream that you may encounter while here, and Hoh Humm Ranch is a perfect site to get some rest. There's whitewater on Hoko River for all you adrenaline people, and you can go for a hike on the South Sand Point Trail. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Wentworth Lake reach the 60's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Wentworth Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's.   Kalaloch Lodge, Forks 9 miles away We sit on a 50 foot high bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
