Those who really can't live without a shower can go to the truck stop and shower for a fee., RV:We have 40 sites, 36 of those with power and water, 16 of those include septic as well, 4 dry sites. , PETS:Pets are allowed, by permission depending on the breed of dog. Rabies certificates should be carried with you. Rules must be closely followed concerning pet walking and plastic bag pick-ups, as well as leashes and no disturbances., FIRES:The fire marshall in Kittitas County only approves Propane fires which are operated by an instant on/off switch. , GROCERY:Ellensburg has four major grocery stores in town, including Super One, Safeway, Albertsons and Fred Meyers within four or five miles. On July 19, 2009 we started at Boulder caves, floated for 2 1/2 hours and got out at Squaw Rock resort. The gauge was 50. 3 ft. There was just enough water, any lower and we would have been hitting rocks in the riffles. It was way fun!! The only thing to look out for is the ''Gaunlet''. About 3/4 of the way down. STAY LEFT. There is a large rock that splits the river, if you stay left it is a fun ride, otherwise you will end up plastered to the rock.
We were in inflatable kayaks.
