If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Wellin Lake. You truly must love Wellin Lake. GuestHouse Inn & Suites M is a good location to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Sultan River offers some tremendous whitewater. Wellin Lake gets much water; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.

Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows at Wellin Lake during the winter commonly dip into the 30's. a glorious choice; a lake nearby is Monroe Reservoir. Camping at Lake Connor Park is always a fine experience, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Blue Boy West Golf Course. Foye Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out, and this is a popular place for people from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue.

| WE USED TO FISH HUNT AND FOURWHEEL AT THE LAKE...We used to ride dirt bikes in the early 70's up to lake fontal, lotsa fun. I remember the cabins and little store that was up there when I was a kid in the 60's....I used to fish on Lake Fontal but now there isn't any fish.Warning: Lake Fontal Road is a dead end that does not lead to Lake Fontal. The lake is definitely not worth the trouble....We used to ride hores into lake fontal in the late 60's. There used to be a small resort there, complete with cabins, boat rentals,always a huge party opening weekend..(?) big foot sightings in the area...could of been the micro-dot.... |

Lake Beecher is surrounded on 3 sides by a wildlife reserve and a wooded flood plain. Several families of Beavers and Otters make their homes along the sides of the lake. Evidence of large fresh water muscles are often found on the aging docks of the 1920s & 1930s cottages that are along the lake. In the early morning & evening in the summertime, hot air balloons drift along the edge of the lake just above the treeline between the lake and the Snohomish River.... |

I'm Ryan and I'm only 16 but me and my dad have been fishing lake Alice since I was about 7 its a nice quite lake to cast a line in sit back have a smoke and a brew... fishen there is like a lot of other places but they take the bate there's really no down time at that like the trout there aren't the greatest but when you get a hold over on the line it's a real lunker lol... All in all it's a great lake it has great scenery but we never have to worry about to many people going there... I love the lake and I hope you all have a chance to fish it. the lake is a few miles out from fall city I'm sorry but that is all the info I can give you for now. FISH ON!!!!!!... |
