If you are traveling by, why not stop by Ward Lake. Ward Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; during December this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Having a pleasant time in the Olympic Mountains is painless. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Deschutes River. Throughout the months of summer here at Ward Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.
