Ward Lake is a lake worth visiting. A beautiful lake like Lake Butte in the neighborhood of Ward Lake is a great site to take a look at, and if you came for an overnight stay Fisherman's Cove Resort is a good site to camp. Do visit Empire Lake near Ward Lake, it's a wonderful lake; hiking along the Laws Trail is splendid fun.
