Beautiful Waptus Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. The high level of rain makes Waptus Lake a pretty wet location; the month with most of the snow is January while July is generally the driest month. So many entertaining things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too brilliant to be true. Head up to Stephens Pass and strap some skis to your feet, and close by you hit upon the Lake

| | Michael Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Suncadia Resort is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Quick Creek is right next door to Waptus Lake and is always a bliss to explore. This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Waptus Lake is Hour Creek Campground, and a day on the slopes of Snoqualmie is just what you need. time at Waptus Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Why not camp at Tucquala Meadow Campground since you're here at Waptus Lake, and get wet paddling on Cle Elum River. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Stewart Lodge
is a perfect location to spend a night or two; the Escondido Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. You could also visit Deadhead Lake if you're here at Waptus
Lake; it's close by, and going for a hike on the Red Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. For the period of the months of summer at Waptus Lake highs are typically in the 60's, and the overnight is a little colder of course,
usually in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Waptus Lake.
