All through the months of summer at Wapato Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Wapato Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Don't leave Wapato Lake without first going for a hike along the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail,       and Willow Point is very near and is a great place to stop at. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Camping is available at Kamei Resort, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Echo Valley is reasonably near. This lake is so wonderful. Entiat River is a glorious whitewater spot close to Wapato Lake, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Wenatchee. And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable stuff to do in                  the Northern Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Paradise Resort is a nice site to camp, and if you need a place to stay Wapato Point Village Inn is a great choice. You'll locate a picturesque lake called Dry Lake near Wapato Lake; do stop at Antilon Creek since you're here at Wapato Lake. Minneapolis Beach is near Wapato Lake if you're in a beach type of mood, and a splendid nearby hotel is Mountain View Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chelan River; Wapato Lake Dam is a wonderful place, undeniably worth stopping at. Wapato Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the snow is December while July is commonly the driest month.
