Wannacut Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Sun Cove Resort and Guest Ranch is always a great experience; an afternoon playing golf at Oroville Golf Club is always a joy. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Going for a hike on the Sarsapkin Creek Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and Hicks Canyon is close at hand, and is a       good location. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Best Western Peppertree Omak Inn is a nice location to get some rest; Spring Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. A lake nearby is Pentland Lake, and camping is available at Spectacle Lake Resort. Around Wannacut Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the snow falls throughout December, and the driest month is July. The warmest                  time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Wannacut Lake. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's.
