Wandermere Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Don't forget to take a wonderful little journey to Dartford Creek, and Wandermere Lake Dam is a lovely spot. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Esmeralda Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time, and lots of folks from Spokane come here. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Wandermere Lake. Camping is available at Colon Country Campground;

Around Wandermere Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Wandermere Lake descend into the 10's.
What would winter
be without some skiing at 49 Degrees North It's always perfect to pop by Waikiki Springs. A tremendous site to camp here at Wandermere Lake is Shadows RV Park and Camp Grounds; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's
for you then, we recommend Hangman Creek.
There are some good whitewater spots on Spokane River, and the slopes of Mt. Spokane are so inviting noone can resist.
