Wanapum Dam has delightful water scenery and it's near Wanapum Lake; needless to say Johnson Creek is a pretty stream that is worth checking out. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Wanapum Lake. Camping at Getty's Cove RV is always a perfect experience, and a great site to go to is Middle Canyon. All year is a nice time in the Wenatchee Mountains if you       like the outdoors. If you need a place to stay Country Inn and Suites Sunnyside is a good choice, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sand Hollow Creek. Wanapum Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wenatchee Mountains. The warmest time of the year at Wanapum Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Wanapum                  Lake tend to be in the 20's. Not much rain falls here at Wanapum Lake; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful.
