Through the long summer days at Waddell Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and the night is quite cooler of course, typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Waddell Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Maple Creek       is a striking stream that is worth visiting, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Mill Creek Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Waddell Lake. There's so much to do here at Waddell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Campground is a good place for that, and hiking along the Park Creek Trail is splendid fun. This lake is so                  wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Bavarian Ritz, and do take a hike on the Rainbow Lake Trail. Stay the night at High Bridge Campground; paddling on Granite Creek is so much fun. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Stehekin River; you can see McGregor Mountain from Waddell Lake. Waddell Lake is a wet site that gets a great deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is July. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Cascade Range. This is a brilliant vicinity for folks who like lakes. Coon Lake is a lake in the neighborhood.
