Do stop by Vinegar Lake while you're in this part of Washington. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Vinegar Lake called the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail, and there are plenty of people from Wenatchee here at Vinegar Lake. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. You can never get enough of the great skiing at

| | Loup Loup Ski Bowl, and the Bluff Lake Trail is a great hiking trail close by.
And if that's not enough there's lots more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Vinegar Lake is a fine place to camp, Poison Creek Campground is a fine place, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Methow River. month. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Echo Valley is one of those things you just have to do, and Foggy Dew Campground is a tremendous campground here.
For the duration of the months of summer at Vinegar Lake highs are commonly
in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Vinegar Lake are in the 10's. South Fork Gold Creek is a
lovely stream that is worth checking out; Carlton Motel is a pleasant location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Hungry Mountain can be spotted from Vinegar Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Blue Spruce
Motel. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Vinegar Lake. Nearby Buckhorn Canyon is a perfect place to go if you're at Vinegar Lake, and McCall Basin is a wonderful place to check out.
