Summertime highs at Vinegar Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's; night lows at Vinegar Lake throughout the winter typically plunge into the 10's. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Camping is available at Foggy Dew Campground; the peak       of Hungry Mountain can be seen from Vinegar Lake. If the weather is perfect here at Vinegar Lake, you can go for a hike along the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Echo Valley around here. Why not stop at close by South Fork Gold Creek if you're here at Vinegar Lake; nearby you discover great spots like Buckhorn Canyon. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area in the neighborhood of Vinegar Lake has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Poison Creek Campground is a great location to camp, and paddling on Methow River is so much fun. Vinegar Lake is regularly a rather dried out site; December is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful.
