Venus Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The Red Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Venus Lake, and glide down the rapids of Deception Creek in a kayak. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Venus Lake. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Venus Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Venus Lake has it all. A day on the slopes of Stephens Pass is just what you need; if the weather is good, you
can go for a hike along the Lake Michael Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You need to explore Lynch Glacier while you're here at Venus Lake; camping at Hour Creek Campground is always a perfect experience. Skyriver Inn is a glorious
location to get some rest, and you can see Mount Daniel from Venus Lake. Venus Lake gets a lot of water; most of the snow falls during January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Snoqualmie
is great, and Venus Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tucquala Meadow Campground is a great local campground.
