The beauty of Vance Creek Lake is reason enough to stop by. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Vance Creek Lake reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Vance Creek Lake are in the 30's. Vance Creek Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Nahwatzel Resort is a great local campground, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Satsop River - Middle Fork.
