Beautiful Upper Johnson Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Skate Creek is so much fun; hiking along the Willame Trail is delightful fun. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you get bored of Upper Johnson Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Cliff Lake; after a long day outdoors Crest Trail Lodge is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. A great deal of rainfall falls at Upper Johnson Lake; November is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Rock Campground is always a brilliant experience, and from Upper Johnson Lake you acquire a magnificent view of Chutla Peak.

hiking at its best, and if you need a site to stay Tatoosh Motel is a good choice. Upper Johnson Lake is right by the Skyline Trail, and if time allows, Mount Rainier National Park is a national park worth taking a look at.
