This lake is one of the great places       here in the Northern Cascade Range. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Butter Creek, and if you're here, you could take a look at Paradise River. Upper Johnson Lake is right by the Moraine Trail. Mount Rainier National Park is one of the destinations next to Upper Johnson Lake that are brilliant to go to; you can have a wonderful                  hiking adventure along the Willame Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Upper Johnson Lake, you'll locate Cliff Lake which is a pretty lake, and Longmire Campground is a good local campground. Summertime highs at Upper Johnson Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Upper Johnson Lake. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Upper Johnson Lake without first paying a visit to Carter Falls, and do take a hike on the Skyline Trail.
