Hamma Hamma River is a magnificent whitewater spot near Upper Jefferson Lake, and nearby you hit upon the Mount Jupiter Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. All through the summer months at Upper Jefferson Lake highs are generally in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Upper Jefferson Lake plunge into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. There are nice sites to discover along the Baldy Trail. Upper Jefferson Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains.
