If you come at the right time of year, Dosewallips River offers some delightful whitewater; Comfort Inn       & Suites is a good site to get some rest. Looking for some flowing water? Try East Fork Union River, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Bremerton is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop at; if you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Jupiter Trail. The good folks of Bremerton-Silverdale like to hang out close by, and McCormick Woods Golf Course is a golf course nearby.                  High temperatures at Union River Reservoir during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Union River Reservoir dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. From Union River Reservoir you obtain a good vista of Gold Mountain; camping at Carrington Mobile Home and RV Park is always a fine experience. This lake is so wonderful.
