Undi Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Calawah River, and since you're here, you could go to Bear Creek. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Good hiking is available along the Bogachiel-Hoh Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Forks 101 RV Park is a magnificent place

You just ought to like the Olympic Mountains. Don't leave Undi Lake without first going for a hike along the Pass Trail, and Lake Pleasant is a nearby lake that you could visit. If you need a place to stay Kalaloch Lodge is a magnificent choice; Forks Mobile Home Park is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort; if you get bored of Undi Lake you could also go to close by Thunder Lake.
Undi Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is August.

Bear Creek Campground
10 miles away
Why is it called Deadmans Hill? There is supposed to be a forest road that navigates the north side of Deadmans Hill which is actually a series of mountain tops covered in thick forests about 2,500 feet tall.
I have camped at Bear Creek since the summer of 2003 and it is really in the center of everything in the North Olympic Peninsula. This is the best area I have ever camped at in the US but there is no hot shower. Stars on a clear night are so great and the cool nights are appreciated even when it is really hot over in Seattle....

Rugged Ridge Trail
12 miles away
The distance came up as 3.2mi (or 4.6k) on our map. That was to the River. Nice hike....I just hiked half of this trail on January 20,2008. It's a beautiful quiet trail thru lush forest. Trailhead is difficult to find. From Route 101 in Forks take FR 29. After 11.3 mi take a right onto FR 2913 for 2.2 mi to the end where the trail starts....
