This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Snowcap Lodge. Ty Lake gets much water; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Bear Lake Campground is a

nice location to camp, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Kaner Flat Trail. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Ty Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Ty Lake tend to be in the 20's. All the outdoors cool stuff close to Ty Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Soar down
the rapids of Tieton River in a kayak, and Grouse Heaven is right here at Ty Lake.
If you get bored of Ty Lake, you could also take a look at nearby Bear Lake, and going for a hike along the Keenan Meadows Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rattlesnake Creek - Naches Tributary, and Stagecoach RV Park is a good campground nearby. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range rocks! Lynne Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and do take a hike on the Grey Rock Trail.

Rimrock Lake
Robin, you can have fires in camp at Rimrock as long as there are no fire bans in the Wenatchee National Forest, you can find out if there is a ban by going to the Naches Ranger Station online or along Highway 12 going through Naches up White Pass....When is the best time to troll for silvers in Rimrock Lake?...Would like to now if we are allowed to have camp fires at rimrock lake....

Naches River
10 miles away
On July 19, 2009 we started at Boulder caves, floated for 2 1/2 hours and got out at Squaw Rock resort. The gauge was 50. 3 ft. There was just enough water, any lower and we would have been hitting rocks in the riffles. It was way fun!! The only thing to look out for is the ''Gaunlet''. About 3/4 of the way down. STAY LEFT. There is a large rock that splits the river, if you stay left it is a fun ride, otherwise you will end up plastered to the rock.

We were in inflatable kayaks.
Have fun!!

White Pass
26 miles away
...programs for everyone and places to relax and enjoy good times after the day is over.
What really makes it special though, is the friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. It's what makes White Pass a ski and snowboard paradise.
The White Pass experience starts with a bountiful snowfall (350'' in an average season) and with the highest base elevation on the crest of the Washington Cascades.
The resort strikes a perfect balance between pulse quickening steeps, wide open cruisers and gentle learning areas with 33 percent of the terrain geared toward experts, 43 percent toward intermediates and 24 percent toward beginners.
Nothing gets you to the top faster than the Great White Express, Washington's only Doppelmayr high-speed detachable quad. Great White can take you from the base to the summit in five minutes.
White Pass is recognized as one of the greatest mountains to ride in the Northwest. Natural quarter-pipes, kickers, drops, cornices and chutes challenge even the most experienced boarder. It offers a half-pipe.
It's got one of the most scenic and well-maintained cro...
