A visit to Ty Lake is always a good idea. Ty Lake is a pretty wet place frequently with a large amount of precipitation; January is when you get the most rain here while July is regularly the driest month. Ty Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. A lake close by is Bear Lake, and paddling on Rattlesnake Creek - Naches Tributary is so much fun.
That right there is a load of cool things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range

has it all. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ty Lake; Keenan Meadows Trail is a glorious local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Stagecoach RV Park is a great site to do that, and glorious hiking is available along the Grey Rock Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things near Ty Lake. Grouse Heaven is a delightful place any time of year, and dry warm beds await you at Stewart Lodge.
Summer at Ty Lake arrives with high

temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Ty Lake. There's so much to do here at Ty Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Lake Campground is a great location for that, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Tieton River. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. If you get bored of Ty Lake, you could also pop by nearby Lynne Lake, and there's pleasant hiking along the Kaner Flat Trail.

Rimrock Lake
Robin, you can have fires in camp at Rimrock as long as there are no fire bans in the Wenatchee National Forest, you can find out if there is a ban by going to the Naches Ranger Station online or along Highway 12 going through Naches up White Pass....When is the best time to troll for silvers in Rimrock Lake?...Would like to now if we are allowed to have camp fires at rimrock lake....

Naches River
10 miles away
On July 19, 2009 we started at Boulder caves, floated for 2 1/2 hours and got out at Squaw Rock resort. The gauge was 50. 3 ft. There was just enough water, any lower and we would have been hitting rocks in the riffles. It was way fun!! The only thing to look out for is the ''Gaunlet''. About 3/4 of the way down. STAY LEFT. There is a large rock that splits the river, if you stay left it is a fun ride, otherwise you will end up plastered to the rock.

We were in inflatable kayaks.
Have fun!!

White Pass
26 miles away
... variety of terrain for all abilities, a ski school with programs for everyone and places to relax and enjoy good times after the day is over.
What really makes it special though, is the friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. It's what makes White Pass a ski and snowboard paradise.
The White Pass experience starts with a bountiful snowfall (350'' in an average season) and with the highest base elevation on the crest of the Washington Cascades.
The resort strikes a perfect balance between pulse quickening steeps, wide open cruisers and gentle learning areas with 33 percent of the terrain geared toward experts, 43 percent toward intermediates and 24 percent toward beginners.
Nothing gets you to the top faster than the Great White Express, Washington's only Doppelmayr high-speed detachable quad. Great White can take you from the base to the summit in five minutes.
White Pass is recognized as one of the greatest mountains to ride in the Northwest. Natural quarter-pipes, kickers, drops, cornices and chutes challenge even the most experienced boarder. It offers a half-pipe.
