North Twin Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Carson Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at. For the duration of the months of summer, highs regularly       are in the 80's at Twin Lakes Reservoir while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Twin Lakes Reservoir. Twin Lakes Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Rocky Point Campground is a great local campground; hiking along the Daisy Trail is good fun. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Twin Lakes Reservoir. Dry warm                  beds await you at H & H Motel, and time spent at Carson Beach is always good. White Willow Motel & Camp is a nice spot to get some rest; get yourself into a kayak and hit Sherman Creek. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the White Mountain Trail.
